I am passionate about working with children, youth, adults, and their families. I support clients in their unique journeys of self-discovery and healing, helping them build emotional awareness, social and coping skills, and self-esteem. My counselling practice addresses a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, sexual abuse, and trauma. I also support families in strengthening their relationships and assist parents and caregivers in adapting their approaches to meet the unique needs of each child. I have considerable experience supporting children and youth in care, as well as clients with autism and other neurodiverse conditions.
I have special interests in supporting clients who are exploring their gender identity, and I possess extensive, up-to-date training and experience in evidence-based gender-affirming care through the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), where I have been a member since 2019.
As a white, cisgender woman, parent, and active ally, I tailor my approach to each individual client, offering play therapy, expressive arts therapy, EMDR, CBT, and other evidence-based approaches through a feminist and systems lens. I am committed to ongoing learning and self-reflection to serve Indigenous and other marginalized communities with cultural humility and respect.
